DVD Decoder Uninstalled - Which Disk?

I have recently taken my Inspiron E1505 in to be completley wiped out and then have everything reinstalled due to a dumb mistake on my part. Now i am missing the DVD Decoder for Windows Media Player 11. Anyone know which disk I should use to re-install it? The disks I have are:
  • Application
  • Drivers and Utilities
  • Operating System
  • Roxio
  • Microsoft Works 8.5
I'm thinking its the Roxio because it has a myDVD thing on it, but I don't want to stick any old disk in it and risk messing things up again. Not worth screw up with my computer! I can always take it back into the place and have them do it, but I would like to watch the movie tonight. :smileywink:

Thanks much!

Hi,
A similar situation occurred with me. I uninstalled Cineplayer, and to my dismay I could not here sounds  for DVD's and music. So I had to reinstall Cineplayer, which has the decoder. I haven't  figured out a replacement so I can completely uninstall Cineplayer. So I'm guessing you have/had Cineplayer as a Dell installed application and you have the Cineplayer Disc.

Do you have Vista Home basic? AFAIK Home Premium and Ultimate have built-in DVD decoders...

I have Vista Home Premium. So you're saying I shouldn't have any problems with DVD or music sound utilizing the wmp or media center?
