E-mail client?

Question

With no experience with Vista, I'm helping a friend get started with her brand new Inspiron 1501. Past versions of Windows included Outlook Express, right? But I don't find Outlook Express on this Vista machine. Does Vista offer another e-mail client? (My friend's Inspiron came with Microsoft Works, so she doesn't have Outlook either.)

Microsoft changed the name of Outlook Express to Windows Mail. Its basically the same program but an improved UI (user interface). Which is pop3 and no longer http

There is also Windows Live Mail, that is in Beta version currently, it is just like OE was, It has a few bugs right now, but will be worked out on the next release. I have used both and I like the Live mail better, even with the few bugs it has.   http://get.live.com/betas/maildesktop_betas
