You can try to re-install the Earthlink software and then do the uninstall routine and/or you can search for any file with earthlink in the title.  Then delete all such files, but this may not catch all of the Earthlink installed files.

I reinstalled the Earthlink software, then did an uninstall.  It uninstalled just fine.  I did a search for "earthlink" and deleted all entries found.  I use regcrawler to look at the registry, searched the registry for "earthlink" and deleted all entries found.  Problem still exists.  Don't tell me to call Earthlink.  They don't know!
