I'm unable to make a CD I get error messages that say: E 80041882-CD error power calibration area error [03/73/03] E 80041925- Track Writer error command retry failed [T7118] any help appreciated. Thank you.

Those usually indicate a defective CD blank. Try a different brand or batch of CD's and see if they work. The first thing that happens when you burn a CD is the drive will "calibrate" the laser for the specific CD blank you have loaded in the burner drive and if it can't calibrate for the CD blank that is normally when you get the calibration error.

If this is not the case, suggest you repost on the CD/DVD section - the forum section for CD/DVD support.
