End program message
While shutting down my dimension 4550 I been getting a message, End Program HPCMPMGR.EXE. program not responding. After this message it shuts down by itself. This happened after I hooked up a HP 7760 photo printer but still have my X75 lexmark all in one as the default printer for all other printing . What is going on and how do I get rid of this end program message.

HP multifunction manager.
Since it starts with Windows, and constantly runs in background, you just need to remove the startup reference to prevent it from doing so…
Click Start, and then select Run.
Enter MSCONFIG in the Open field; Click OK.
Switch to Startup tab.
Find HPCMPMGR.EXE on the list of Startup Items, and clear the box on the left.
Click OK.
Restart Computer.
You will receive a warning message upon next startup informing you about the change you made.
Acknowledge the message and disable it.
Please post back with results.
