IPP is Intel's Integrated Performance Primitives. These are optimized library routines for commonly used multimedia and signal processing functions. Since you recently repaired your XP installation, I would recommend that you reinstall your Intel Chipset Drivers, reinstall your video card drivers, and drivers for any recently added multimedia hardware and software such as a digital camera.
