error, cannot enter computer, blue screen of death!!!!

Hello, I cannot enter windows, when I start up my computer, my dell computer sign starts up good, then the windows xp logo, but after that there appears a blue screen, saying: 'stop: c0000135 {unable to locate dll} The system can't find msvcrt.dll. Installing this application can fix this problem' I've searched on google and elsewhere for a solution, but couldn't find any. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Boot to the Recovery Console (see section 3 here. At the command prompt enter the following, substituting the letter of your CD-ROM drive for X:

expand x:\i386\msvcrt.dl_ c:\windows\system32\msvcrt.dll and press .

Note that there is a space between dl_ and c:\.

You should see a message that one file has been expanded. Restart.

It worked!!!! Although it didn't work the first time, you have to type: expand x:\i386\msvcrt.dl_ c:\windows\system32\ and not: expand x:\i386\msvcrt.dl_ c:\windows\system32\msvcrt.dll Thanks Denny Denham.
