error code c000021a windowsXP home edition

Question

Running windowsXP home with SP2 and all appropriate automatic updates. I would get blue screen error code c000021a on my dimension2400. I opted to reinstall XP home edition SP1 (disk that came with PC) since the PC is a couple of years old. Using the disk that came with the machine installation seemed to go well, I have the product code tag from the case. I get to the logon screen and get a windows product activation error; 'a problem is preventing eindows from accurately checking the license for this computer. error code 0x800703e6'   Now there have ben no hardware changes since I bought the PC.   Any suggestions?

I installed with service pack 1. Do I need to do SP2?
