You need to post more info. What are you trying to do? What have you already done? Did you install the old drive into the new computer or is the error on the old computer? If you're having trouble with the new computer, call Dell for assistance.
was editing a photo when it came up with a blue screen bad pool caller then did a memory dump then on reboot that code came up...
I took the new drive from the Dell and installed it as a slave in my old PC shows up in BIOS & Device manager but not in My Computer .. so I can't access it.. and call Dell you got ot be kidding I have called so many times to be lied to hung up on transfered to wrong places and they still can't help except to send a new HD and I lose all my files on a PC less than 2 weeks old ( wasn't even finished setting it up with everything from old PC) this happen a little over a week after I got it.. I have seen where it says how to but on the net but I don't understnad it all and I really think on a brand new PC Dell ought to be more helpful
There are some MS links that appear to be relevant to your problem but it would be easier to do a clean install. Could not find one definitive answer. Causes range from bad device drivers to IRQ problems. I would first make sure your Ram is ok by reseating first module, test boot, and add one stick back at a time. Be careful of static or you'll have more to worry about than a clean install.
Then I would boot to CD/Recovery Console and see if any of these commands help.
chkdsk /r, fixboot, fixmbr (There could be a loss of data with the last 2)
If none of those help try a Repair Install. Last suggestion, Repair registry.
thanks for all the replies nothing worked Dell did install a new HD but that still hasn't help me get my files off the old HD will keep on working until I figure it out
just an update before I sent the defective drive back to Dell I bought a program GetDataBack .. and it did the job .. got all my files from the crashed HD before I had to send it back to Dell

Perhaps the information in the following link will correct the problem.
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1027465246
If not, I suggest going to google and search on 0xc000003a for a variety of other fixes.
