It would also help if you could verify the specific operating system you're working with. It's not necessarily a Windows error, though. I think I'd start with a thorough check for malware, using either Lavasoft AdAware or Spybot Search and Destroy, or both.
I had gone through that list and saw nothing that exactly matched the message I got.
This problem is happening when the electricity blinks. I have a battery back up and it is functioning properly but I still get this blue screen with this same bugcheckex message. I thought the battery back up was the problem so I went and bought another one and charged it up but when the electricity blinks (which it does often here lately) the computer goes to the blue screen and gives me this message. So I have been trying to figure out what this message means.
I beieve that KEBUGCHECKEX errors are related to scanner driver problems. Do you have a scanner connected to your machine? If so, you might want to try disconecting it and see what happeens, or uninstall and reload the drivers for it.
Thank you. I am exploring all options. I will post back if I ever figure out what it is that is causing the error. And that is a big IF. I think if computers give out these cryptic code messages then there should be a site somewhere to figure out what the heck it means. (And by the way, I have gone to one site someone suggested and went through pages and pages of codes but the one I get is not listed.)

You might want to recheck your spelling on that error message ("haulted?"), but some general information is available here:
