ERROR!! help!
hello, i have a latitude C640, and every time i try to start the computer, the computer would load and go to a dark screen. Every time i try to press a key, you would make a noise. So i did a diagnostic check and it said everything was good until it started the DST short test and thats when it said it failed.
Error code 1000-0146.
msg: DST log contains previous error(s).
please help. thank you

chkdsk c: /r
press enter
See if that fixes it. If not, your HD may have failed and you'll have to contact Dell for replacement if it's under warranty.
