Error Message from Outlook

Has anyone seen this message when opening Outlook in Windows XP?

The add-in "C:\\program Files\NavNT\vpmsece.dll" could not be installed or loaded.  This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu.  Unable to load "C:\Program Files\NavNT\vpmsece.dll".  You may be out of memory, out of system resources, or missing a .dll file.

More importantly, how do I fix it??

Thanks

Try this- delete the addin. In Outlook (not Outlook Express) go to Tools, Options, Other tab, Advanced options, Addin mgr. If it's not there to uncheck, change your settings for scanning email in Norton Anti Virus. Sounds like that's where this is coming from. You might need to reinstall NAV.

Thanks for the hint but I'm afraid it will be the latter issue.  That is, the error is associated with NAV and because of other issues with my computer, I had to set the bookmark to a period before I had installed Norton.  The computer must be confused and I can no longer find the NAV software at my home.  I am now in te UK for 5 weeks and will not get a chance to fix it until I return.  Thanks again for the reply.

this is a good fix for the Mcafee error you get when opening Outlook after uninstalling Mcafee. Thanks.
