error message in ie

Question

I have been fiddling around with the settings on my computer.  I use XP pro.  Somehow I managed to lock myself out of tools->internet options.  I get an error message reading 'This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in place on this computer'.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jon Gray

are you using spybot s&d? there is a setting in 'immunize' that will restrict access to ie's settings.. maybe you enabled that.. (there may also be other ways that access to ie's settings can be restricted)
