Error message when first starting computer.

I recently installed Sprint DSL for my internet access. When I first turn on my computer, a long horizontal rectangle comes up and says at the top of the grey bar: TaskPanl.exe Unable to locate component. There is a red X error mesage int the box below that says: This application has failed to start because E60Common.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem. I have no idea if this is a Sprint-earthlink problem or not. Does a computer automatically go on-line when you have a DSL line? If so, then it can't do it. I can close the box and get on line by clicking on Microsoft Explorer, but the error mesage is quite annoying. Thanks for any help.
