When you get the message to send the report to Microsoft, click on the link to show details of the report. What is the AppName and ModName involved in the error?

Unfortunately, that error report is not very helpful. So, we'll just have to guess. The most common problems being reported with Internet Explorer these days are due to spyware and other internet parasites that get installed on you computer during web browsing.
To get rid of spyware on your computer, see the following message in the Virus Information and Removal forum and follow the instructions Spybot and Ad-Aware. If necessary continue on with the instructions for HijackThis, then post your log in one of the recommended spyware removal forums:

Hi,
Bare with me as I'm trying to rely on memory mostly. If in your error message the words IEXPLORE.EXE are in capitals, I do believe I read somewhere (and unfortunately I can't recall where) that is an indication of a virus. When you see those words under better conditions, it should read IExplore ? From the resources I seek info from, there is a "possibility" of two types of Viruses. The first one is: Oblivion.B Virus and the second one is, Backdoor.Aphexdoor Virus. The first one I'm unable to get more info on for you, but the second one you can definetely go to www.symantec.com and get info on. Check it out and as always, we wish you the best...
