Error message

I have just done a complete reinstall due to a problem with opening web pages. All has gone ok apart from Norton Antivirus which runs ok and updates, but I am unable to switch on Auto Protect, I get the following error

UNSPECIFIED ERROR

CODE 0

I have reinstalled Norton but still the same

Any help would be appreciated
