Hi
I had the same problem since I bought a Dell Laptop (D810) and the solution is the following:
I have downloaded and installed the latest version of Dell QuickSet from Dell web site and now, everthing works fine. No more error message occurs during this last month.
I have flashed the BIOS too the same day.
Yours sincerely

Bonjour

Cordialement

From what I can tell it seems like QuickSet is an application for laptops.  The computer I am having trouble with is a desktop Dell.  I don't feel comfortable using Quickset without knowing more about it.  Thanks for your response, tho.

Hi
You are right, but it shows that the problem is a program out of date in (or bugged) the startup menu.

Start Menu > Run... > MSCONFIG > Startup tab

You should desactivate one or more items and see whether the problem still appears or not. (sorry for my english language!)
