Go to Solution- I am using a Dell Inspiron 15R and I get similar messages on a regular basis. The nnnn in the message changes every time. It usually happens when I open an application e.g. excel, word, turbo tax it does not matter what application I open.,,, there is no pattern to the appearance of the message.

Try using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility and see if there are any pieces left over. If that does not work, try reinstalling the program and see if it starts working. If it still does not, do you know how to edit the registry? If you do, then you may need to do a manual uninstall.

DSD appears to be Dell System Detect. That is the little application that allows the servers here to detect the Service tag of your computer and give you a list of the drivers needed for your computer. If you don't mind entering in your service tag manually, then just uninstall it.
