error messages
I have a Windows Me Dimension l733r software on my computer. When I turn on my computer, I get the following error messages: Wintrust.dll, kernel32.dll, winspool.drv, and powrprof.dll. What can I fix the error messages on my computer. HELP!!!

You need to post the full and exact text of the error messages as I told you before over in the Network forum.

Steve, Here is the exact error messages that I am getting.
Stmgr has caused an error in wintrust.dll, kernnel32.dll Stmgr will now close. Error starting program a required .dll file, winspool.drv was not found. Rundl error loading powrprof.dll one of the library files needed to run this application can't be found. HELP!

Searching the web (particularly the Microsoft Newsgroups) for stmgr errors in wintrust.dll and kernel32.dll only reveals bad news. I found lots of messages concerning the problem and the following are a recent and typical ones.

Essentially they all say that the only way to fix this is to reinstall Windows ME. Before doing that, however, I would recommend updating your virus definitions and doing a full system scan for viruses to be sure that a virus is not causing the problem.
Perhaps someone else will come along with a better fix.
