Error messages!!

I don't know if this is the right message board to ask this question, but I have been getting a couple of error messages and I am not sure what they mean. First, any time I re-boot my computer I get this error message : bpcv2.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services - Application has generated an exception that could not be handled processid=0x614(1556) ThreadID=0x628(1576).

Also I have been getting : XML Parse Error. I am not sure what these mean or what they indicate. I recently attempted at getting DSL and I have had nothing but problems. My computer is slow and I am getting error messages regarding Internet Explorer. The company that provides the DSL service says that I need to re-install IE. I just want to be able to use the DSL since I am paying for it but at the present time I can't! Help if you can or direct me somewhere please!!!

I went to that site and printed out the instructions for removal but when I opened up the registry, I didn't see the entry 'RVP' that the instructions were talking about. All I had was a REG. I tried to delete that but it wouldn't let me. Here is more info on XML error

I am really computer illiterate! Sorry
