"error on page" when clicking items on web page

Hello,

When remotely accessing work e-mail (Outlook, with web page functionality), I am unable to open or reply to e-mails in my Inbox.  Clicking on an e-mail in the list, or selecting one and clicking "Reply", results in no action and either the "error on page" message or the URL for retrieving the message appears in the lower left.  I have not had this problem previously, but I should add that I just installed new McAfee security software, which otherwise appears to be OK.  I'm wondering if the new software altered IE settings, because I inactivated the firewall and other protection, and still had the problem.  Please help!
