Error, press any key to reboot

Question

Every time I turn my gx270 on an error message comes up saying 'error, press any key to reboot.'  Pressing any key only produces the same message.  Control+Alt+Del gets me the same message.  I hit F12 and tab to SATA (my primary HD) and computer finds OS.  Choosing Normal boot gets the error message. Any suggestions to get computer to find OS on normal reboot.

What changed recently? Did you install any new programs?

Shut computer down one day.  Turned on the next and that's when error started.  Haven't tried it, but I'm wondering if a system restore might help.  Guess I'll do that next.
