Errors in my Event Viewer

I  have a Dell Dimenson 2400 with Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 40 HGz, 512 MB of RAM with Windows XP Pro on it.

Ever since uninstalling sp2, I have been getting hung up on the blue Windows is opening screen on boot up.  It hangs on that screen for a good 2 minutes before advancing to the blue Welcome screen and then my desktop picture.  I looked in my Event Viewer and have found these errors.  Can someone tell me what is going on and what I can do to stop these errors?

SYSTEM errors every day in my Event Viewer on Administrative Tools on Control Panel

The DCOM Server Process Launcher service hung on starting
Event ID 7022

The Security Center service failed to start due to the following error:  The executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement the service.
Event ID 7000

The following boot-start or system-start drive(s) failed to load:
FltMgr
Event ID 7026

The HTTP service failed to start due to the following error:
The specified procedure could not be found.
Event ID 7000

APPLICATION errors I am also getting everyday in Event Viewer.

Unable to open the Server service.  Server performance data will not be returned.  Error code returned is in dated DWORD 0.
Event ID 2004

Faulting application explorer.exe. version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module shell 32 dll, version 6.0.2800.1556, fault address 0x0002a0c6.
Event ID 1000

The open procedure for service "WmiApRpl" in DLL "C:\WINDOWS\System32\wbem\wmiaprpl.dll" has taken longer than the established wait time to complete.  There may be a problem with this extensible counter or the service it is collecting data from or the system may have been very busy when this call was attempted.

You uninstalled SP2?? You must have had problems with it.

Well,I don't have the answer you are looking for, but either reinstall SP2 to see if the problems cease, or backup all of your pictures, documents, music, and other stuff that in not on CD's that you don't want to lose, and do a clean install of XP.

(You could try a repair reinstall if you'd prefer)

Two ways to get more info on those error events:

1. click on the link in the description section of event properties while on line. MS will send you a help and support page that may contain more info and links to articles to resolve the problem.

2. with the event source and event ID, go to

http://www.eventid.net/ click on search events in the top line, fill in event source and event ID; if there are related posts there it will show them. (this is free; posting a problem there costs $ for registration).

No Events found!
