After reformatting and reinstalling Windows, you need to first install the chipset drivers. This is very important since without the chipset drivers you will not be able to install drivers for many other devices. Once the chipset drivers are installed you can then install the drivers for your ethernet network adapter, video adapter, sound card, modem, and any other devices that you may have. Since you have not stated which model computer you have, I can't point you to the download site for your particular model. You can, however, find the drivers yourself by clicking on "Desktops" or "Notebooks", depending on which you have, at the top of this forum window. Then click on Downloads and enter either your service tag or model.
