Explorer has caused an error
I am have a problem logging on to the internet and get the follow message " Explorer has caused an error in VX2.dll. Explorer will now close". I can not get to "explorer" or "my computer" with getting this message. Please help and thank you in advance. I am running windows me on a dimension 8200 and use a cable modem.

See response number 4 in this thread. It would be prudent to go to File|Export and export the entry which contains vx2.dll to a folder on your hard disk so you can merge it back into the registry if the edit does not work.
Another more conservative solution is to download and run Ad-aware from here and/or Spybot from here. VX2 is advertising spyware and one or both of these programs should remove it.
