Extended Error
We are operating with Windows NT 4.0 Server with NT 4.0, windows 95 , and Windows 2000 clients.
Am currently having problems with Windows 2000 clients when mapping to server. Receive error:
The mapped network drive could not be created because the
following error occurred:
An extended error has occurred.
After several attemps the drive will eventually map but will lose mapping after a period of time.

This might be a problem with my Windows domain password, so I changed the password of my account on the Powerbook to be the same as my domain password.
After this, you should be able to access your network drives as you would expect.
