Facial Recognition Installation Issues

I recently bought a new XPS laptop and it came pre-installed with the new facial recognition. Well recently I was prompted to update my facial recognition, and went throught the processes. Right before it finished, a message popped up stating that I didn't have enough administrator approval to access the file it was trying to install...Well, I am the only user on this computer, so I am the administrator. The message will not go away unless you click "cancel", then it removes all the files and leaves my computer without any facial recognition software. I understand I can go to the MY DELL DOWNLOADS page; however, I have recently been unable to access that page because of some error (Unable to determine final destination because of SignOn process), so I cannot re-install the facial recog. When I am finally able to reach the page to re-download, how can I prevent this problem from occuring again?

I have the same issue.  Even when you run as an administrator, there is an issue.

The first route to take is to try to reinstall the software by...

Using Internet Explorer, and go to My Dell Downloads :: Login Use the same email address and password you use here. Click on add system. The Fast Acces Facial Recognition Software is there to download.

If you still have issue, please try contacting Sensible Vision Support The svrep will try to help you solve your problems.

Rick,

Thank you for your help with this issue. I can get through that process fairly easily; however, EVERY time I am prompted to update the software, I go through the processes and get the error that I do not have administrator approval. This is what causes the program to delete in the first place. Seeing as how I am the administrator on the computor, how can I fix that problem?

Thx
