Facing Performance Issues with Google Chrome 64 bit in Windows 10

Question

I have an Inspiron 5379 with 16 GB RAM running Windows 10, and I am seeing severe latency issues with Google Chrome 64 bit. However, there are no latency issues with Microsoft Edge! I called Dell support and they helped identify the issue but stated its a software issue and gave up on me. Chrome in the Okla Speedtest shows latency over 1000 ms and my response in Google Contacts is horrendous. Microsoft Edge runs fine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I discovered my Inspiron had the same issues last night which brought me to your posting.  Youtube, Netflix and mouse movements are affected when I have Google Chrome open.  With IE it's fine....

I have the same problem.. Any information about how to fix it? I prefer Chorme in instead of Edge.
