Factory Image Restore Error=Black Screen
I did a factory image restore today and it went through the process and gave me a grey box with a red X and said error at the top. Im running a Inspiron 1525 with Vista. It went back to the main screen with all the options like repair windows, FSR and couple other options, then I hit restart and it sat on a grey screen. I turned the computer off, tried to restart and all I get is a black screen. I've tried turning it off and hitting F8, nothing. I've tried restarting with OS disk in, nothing. I get absolutely nothing......any ideas?

This sounds like a possible motherboard problem. Are you still under warranty? If so, contact support at 1-800-624-9896 for troubleshooting with a phone tech to determine what the issue is and have them replace any parts if needed.
