I don't know if this will help, but the Belarc advisor that you can download will show alot of information ( cpu, memory, operating system, etc ) including some product keys. The link is below. Give it a try
Thanks for responding. I already tried the software. It gave me just about everything you could think of - including all of the Symantec version numbers for each software component; however, no product keys.
Well, the link was a good try and a good lead. While following the instructions did not get me the key code, I did some more stumbling around with menu options and was able to find same. Feel kind of silly now - having spent so much time on this. The solution is as follows:
1. Open Internet Security
2. In upper right-hand corner, select the drop down list next to "Help and Support".
3. The second option is "Norton Internet Security Activation". Select this option.
4. The program will display the product key code. Write it down or print it off.
The above applies to Norton Internet Security - 2004. Don't know if it is the same for earlier versions or for the 2005 version.
Again, thanks to those that responded my post!! Have some happy holidays!
