FIREWALL ACCESS DENIED
I am trying to go into my Poker sight. One I have been on for years. But not in the last few weeks. When I try to Log On, they tell me thatI need to check my Firewall settings. When I went to My Control Panel to change the Firewall settings, I got an error message that say, "Due to an Unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Firewall settings." How can I get my access back?

Hi DAVIDMACK23
It may be something else, but you might want to read & try the solution in MS KB article 920074
Edit: Just an after thought, before you try the above MS KB article solution :emotion-55:
First check to see if your Windows Firewall service has started or not by doing the following:
Open Control Panel > double click Administrative Tools > double click Services
In Services (Local) screen, scroll down to Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)
If working correctly, Status should indicate Started & Startup Type should indicate Automatic

Thank you for your answers. I ended up having to go through Step 1 in order to restore.
You have been very helpful.
