What does the Fixboot command in Reovery Console actually do?

And if you use it, does it delete any data?

Thanks a lot

hi there
the FIXBOOT command fixes any problems with the boot.ini file of your OS.
Situations where the boot.ini file corrupted or missing can be fixed using this command.
It does not cause any loss of data.
