It appears as if Messenger is the problem. Which Messenger is the question. There's a MS Messenger and MS (Instant) Messenger. Do you use a Yahoo Messenger ? Perhaps if you uninstall or disable these, one at a time you may find the offending program. If you want to verify your System Files, the command is: sfc /scannow

I use chkdsk /r (not /f); it may be the same thing. I don't think the disk problem and the message are related. Hopefully some of the smart guys will jump in. Here'a link that may get things started.

I disabled Microsoft Messenger, and succesfully ran CHKDSK /r.  No errors.
