i did not mean anything bad. i was referring to say perhaps installing netzero as an isp.
 a person should know anytime you install something that is free  or cheap, etc., you had better know that program is going to stick things in your computer without asking. for instance the netzero install program puts directx 6 or so on my computer while i already have directx 9.

Hey now, I had to respond to this one! BB, I understand about your thinking on the free stuff, but FIREFOX is way safer than IE, I also use "SPY-BOT Search & Destroy", these might be "free" if you don't donate to their cause but they leave that honor to you to decide it's value to you the user. I have learned to have a "spare" PC setup to try out apps & utilities till I find out if they are safe & stable. Oh well good luck and have fun out here in cyber-land
