Thank you for correcting me, yes it is version 9.  Now the problem still exists, do you have any solutions to this?

Flash 10 ?? ---- Flash is only up to version 9... specifically, 9.0.28

 

Are you sure you're not confusing Flash Player with Shockwave Player (also by Adobe), which is indeed up to version 10:   10.1.4r20

should tell you which version of Shockwave, and Flash, you have installed.

 

i am having the same exact problem on vista. i cannot get flash to properly install. it goes on but as soon as i close my browser it says that it is not installed? if i uninstall it and then reinstall it works untill i close the window again?
