Hey Fireberd, that link doesn't seem to work for me.
I have the same problem, no matter how many times I go to download it, it say sucessfully downloaded but "she-noa-worka". I've tried getting the stand alone uninstaller and totally uninstalling it and trying again but it's driving me nuts.
I am running xp - sp2 on my dimension 4700. I have updated it at microsoft daily as I try to get the flash player issue respolved.
I have clicked on Install to receive Flashplayer 50 ways from Sunday. I have enabled all the appropriate settings. Not only does it not appear as installed, now I cannot view images I used to be able to view; i.e.,
www.shopgoodwill.com. Can anyone suggest the appropriate steps? I wondered what would happen if I right-clicked on the Install button and would it ask me if I want to 'run' or 'save'?

There is another post (the next one) with the same problem.
My comment on there may be your problem too if you have Windows XP and installed the lastest security updates (issued this past Tuesday). See this http://news.yahoo.com/s/cmp/20060413/tc_cmp/185300579
