Format and Clean Install - using boot floppy disks

Related to this post: http://www.dellcommunity.com/supportforums/board/message?board.id=sw_winxp&thread.id=233584 I am unable to boot from Dell WinXP Reinstallation CD. I checked the BIOS and the CD is the first on the boot order. I went to the boot menu and selected the CD drive -- no joy One of the links i got provided me information about "How to obtain Windows XP Setup boot disks" -- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994 Will this options work with Dell OS CD? I want to re-format the C drive, and do a clean install of the OS. Thanks,

@mombodog: Do you know if I will be able to re-format the C drive through the process?

Update:  All is well!

Used the Boot Disks to format and install XP
Had a small ptroblem with BiosInfo.INF -- however, copying it from the CD to the first diskette solved it.

Thanks for the help
