I Have Gone through Ur Issue But I Was Not Able to Understand It Properly. Can U Expand It A Bit Like If U Can Give ME Any Error Codes Or Pop-Ups Which U Get. As I Understand UR Browser Freezes As Soon As U Start Downloading Anything. But Still We Need Some More Info On It.
I Got Ur Reply And I Belive We Have A Way To Fix The Problem
UR Bowser Freezes As Soon As U Start Downloading Any File But Works Fine When Ur Surfing Or Browsing THe Net. The Best I Understand WE Can Try Uninstalling And Reinstalling The IE(Internet Explorer) To Uninstall And Reinstall You Need A Win XP Os CD The Steps Are Click On Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Prog -> The 3rd Option On Left Side i.e. Add/Remove Windows Components -> A new Window Will Pop-up WE HAve To Mark IE And Unmark All Other Applicatiom -> Click "Next" -> Finish -> Restart The Computer. Now Insert Win Xp CD And Again Goto Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Prog -> The 3rd Option On Left Side i.e. Add/Remove Windows Components -> A new Window Will Pop-up Now Don't Mark Any Application And Say Next Now Windows Will Reinstall The IE And If Every Thing Gows Fine U Will Be Able To Download The Files And If Not Plz Reply The Same Thread We Have Lot More Option But If Your issue Is Not Resolved Plz Mention The Type Of Browser You Are Using And Type Of Internet Connection You Have And Also If U Have Installed Any Download Accelerator Any Other Information Which Can Be Useful For Us.
