Function buttons on Inspiron E1505 not working

Hello.  I recently installed the express update to Vista on my Inspiron E1505 laptop.  Since I installed the software, my function buttons are not working: IE: when I press Fn F1 the computer does not hibernate and if I press Fn F2 the radio does not turn off.  These worked fine under XP Media Center.

Is anyone else having the same problem?  I looked around the control panel on Vista but could not see a place to enable these function keys.

Thanks,
John

Did you reinstall the Dell Quickset? I don't know if that has anything to do with their actually functionality, but I wouldn't be surprised. Tell me if that helps or not, because I'm probably going to have this problem too, if that doesn't fix it.

Quickset is what adds this functionality. All my commands work.

Wait, What does the Quickset add? And can I get this from the drivers page?

Yes, install QuickSet from the Drivers & Downloads section to get this working again. Worked for me. The problem I have now is: when I use the volume buttons and the little volume box pops up, in Vista, QuickSet also appears in the taskbar now, a REALLLY annoying thing that didn't happen in XP MCE. Is there any way to change this or do I just have to pray that Dell fixes it?
