funny noices when using internet
I have noticed that my computer regularly makes an ugly 'ugnnnnnnn' noice - as if it is transmitting static/or a scratching sound. Sometimes the page requested will not open and my screen freezes - although this is not always the case. Any ideas what could be causing this and how I can get rid of it?

Thanks for using the Dell Community Forum.
This really sounds more like a hardware issue that a software one. Try going to the hardware section and post this under the modem for your model computer.
