Garmin gps golf HELP!
Just purchased Garmin Golflogix (gps). Downloaded the software but my Dell locks up everytime I open it. Locks completely up I have to cut power to get it back. I previously had Skygolf but returned it when my computer locked up everytime I tried to use it. Have no clue as to why this happens. The computer seems normal otherwise. Ideas anyone? Thanks

Your computer meets the minimum requirements. Are there any other problems with the PC or just the Garmin Golf GPS software? If it's ONLY the Garmin software best to contact their support (if they even have any) and work with them first.
When you install software (the proper term is "install" not download), make sure nothing else is running such as Internet explorer or even your antivirus software.
You note Windows XP, but you should have, at a minimum, Service Pack 2 installed (and SP3 is now available).
