graphic problems with gaming software

After running the dell vista advisor. it was determined that I could run Windows Vista Basic on my Inspirion 5160 laptop.  I would not get the Aero experience or the other graphic highlghts of video.  So I decided to upgrade.  THe install was painless and the OS was running smooth.  Quick reboots, quick response etc......   No problems until I started running software (games in particular) that I installed (no installation problems).  Note:  This games ran .
THe only difference I notice when looking at the devices is that VIsta loads a standard VGA graphics adapter as a device.  It should be XGI graphics with 32mb memory.     Any ideas?  Below is my system information.   Thanks

It's a laptop, so it's onboard;

XGI Volari-XP5 v2.116 Dell  - THis is what the Dell readiness advisor says.

What particular graphics card is installed in your machine (or is it on-board integrated graphics)?

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you're out ot luck. I can't find any updated driver on Dell's site (XP or Vista) and the XGI site tells you to "Contact the manufacturer" (Dell).

Since this is an older chip, I doubt very much if Dell will be providing a Vista driver.
