"Hanging" New Window in Internet Explorer

Hi,

 

Hope someone can help me....

 

Whenever I try to execute a link within a website that requires a new window to spawn (or use Shift+Click on a link) the new window is launched but it just comes up blank and hangs there...

 

I can "copy shortcut" from the Right-Click menu of the link and launch a new Internet Exploroer session and paste the link... displays the page successfully.

 

Any ideas what would cause this ??

 

I have no firewall or virus scanner, I have tryed disabling the popup blocker and also reset the Advanced tab to Defaults.

 

Any comments would be welcomed :)
