Having trouble manipulating files
Recently I had a problem with a virus and the tech from Symantec had me do a bunch of stuff in component services under the Administrative Tools. Now I find that when I try to burn a disc with mp3 files I can't move them around so that they aren't listed alphabetically. Before I could mix them all up but now I can't drag and drop any of them.
I use Nero, and a program called Express Burn and both act the same way. Is there a command somewhere I can change or does anyone have any ideas why this has happened?
Also, when I boot my computer it loads directly to the windows desktop instead of to a log-in page. I have been trying to log on as an administrator but don't know how to do it.
As you can tell I'm pretty much a novice so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello wyodeacon :smileyhappy:
Problem #1. Sorry can`t help other than a workaround.
Number the tracks in the order you want to burn them. Close down the page and when you re-open it they will be in numerical order.
Problem #2
To make the Welcome screen available:
1.Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click User Accounts. 2.Click Change the way users log on or off.
3.Click to select the Use the Welcome screen for fast and easy logon check box.
4.Click OK.

I am not familiar with the programs you are referring to, but the one I use requires that you have the Project set to MP3 and creates playlist. Only within the playlist can you move the titles around.
