Have you double clicked the small speaker next to the clock and messed around in there. Also if you single click the icon you can adjust the volume there to. Good luck, this board is great, someone that knows more than I do will be along.

Mark, see if these help you?? Maybe you tried this but it has to just be something simple because their working on your friends PC...

My old headphones would be recognized as it's own recording device in the sounds and audio properties voice tab. I could choose between them, Logitech headset, or my sound card. These new headphones don't seem to be recognized. Now the only choice I have for default device under voice recording is my sound card. Any more advice?
