Seems to me I recall reading about this upgrade problem, but I cannot locate it. I did find something related to Dreamweaver; would you have it installed?
I installed Dreamweaver and 2 updates for it. I don't really recall if it was happening before and after the install. Since you found a thread it probably happened after.
I'll look for the thread, can you post a link to what you found?
Ah ok, seems that when I install Dreamweaver it becomes the default reader for xml files. There was a patch to reinstall default registry files on the site. I'll try it when I get back to my laptop. Thanks for the help!

Hello People,
Issue:
Cannot open help and support in Vista.It asks for a product ID and when the ID is entered it says its invalid.
When tried to access Help and Support from the start menu, it gives an error "internet explorer cannot download / from help"
Solution:
