HELP! Need to delete history

Question

HELP!!!

I'm using someone else's computer & cannot delete the history. I was able to delete the cookies, but not the history. I tried going under view/internet options/clear history but that didn't work. It's still here. I also tried a defrag and that did nothing too.

Please help - respond promptly.

I'm using windows XP and an SBC Yahoo browser, not IE.

If you're referring to the cascaded site listing under the search bar, I'm not sure of this, but I think you can delete the history by holding down the Ctrl key (or Shift....) as you click each of the listed sites to clear the list.... Message Edited by VCraig on 11-08-2003 10:18 PM

In IE, with History open, right click on an entry, click delete. However the clear History should have worked...
