Help Restoring factory settings!
Hi, i have an Studio 1557 with windows 7 64bit.
It was working well until i started my computer and an error message appeared after the dell logo saying no OS boot was found, so i reinstalled windows 7 from the boot cd option and now i dont have the "factory image recovery" option anymore, however i still see the recovery partition on my HD
is there a way to restore factory settings after this?
if not, is there a way to recover dell preloaded software? because my laptop came only with windows 7 cd, drivers cd and 2 webcam software discs

Hi liotta, If you used an cd/dvd to restore your OS, then chances are, you have damaged your restore partition. If you did not get any disc's for your system, then you can order online if you live in the US HERE. Have an look at this support journal HERE on how to repair your factory image.
