I am having the same problem with my computer!  Have you tried anything that worked?  I spent 2hours on the phone with dell tech support and accomplished nothing.  Any information you have would be greatly appreciated!

Hi

If you have the same problem as I did then you probably have a virus. I'm not very computer savvy but I followed the advice given by the post just before yours in this forum. (I had already done what the others were suggesting) The first step is to download a program called hijackthis. He gave several sights to download from but here's one:

Run the hijackthis program according to the supplied directions and post the log it creates on the Virus Info and Removal forum. A knowledgable 'geek' will direct you from there. The thread for my problem is under "Error Loading Issue - Hijackthis log" in that forum. You can see how some kind soul was of assistance to me there! Good luck. It was a very annoying problem but didn't do any permanent damage.
