Unfortunately if you don't have the reinstallation disks, Dell will not replace those (they only replace missing software in the first 30 days). 

There is a Dell Recovery Partition on the hard drive that will restore the PC to the original factory setup but that will reinstall everything and delete all your user data so you don't want to do that unless it's really needed (CTRL/F11 at boot up).

You basically have two options, purchase a new copy of Word (or whatever you need) or you can download the free (but they take donations) Open Office which is equivalent and compatible with MS Office.  www.openoffice.org
